At CES today, Sony announced a new flagship phone– the Xperia S. This device was recently teased by Sony on their Facebook page, but is finally official. The phone has a 4.3-inch 1280×720 reality display, a dual core GHz processor, 1GB ram and will come in 16gb and 32gb capacities. In addition to upgrading the processor and screen from the Arc S, Sony also included a 12 megapixel Exmor R camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The device at this time appears to be running Gingebread 2.3.7.
The device is set to launch during Q1 of this year, though no concrete date, release date or carrier announcements were announced.
